3. Your Rights as a Data Subject

You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to processing of personal data concerning you which is based on Article 6(1)(1)(e) GDPR (performance of tasks carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority) or Article 6(1)(1)(f) GDPR (balancing of interests); this also applies to profiling based on these provisions.

 

If you object, we will no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.

Objection to data processing for the purpose of direct advertising:

Where we process your personal data for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you for such marketing, which includes profiling to the extent that it is related to such direct marketing.

If you object to processing for direct marketing purposes, we will no longer process your personal data for these purposes.

Withdrawal of consent (Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR):

4.1. Own services

4.1.1. Provision of the website

Processed personal data: Date and time of access, duration of the visit, type of end device, operating system used, functions used, amount of data sent, type of event, IP address, domain name

Purpose(s): Provision of the website

Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 subpara. 1 f) GDPR (balancing of interests). In doing so, we pursue the legitimate interest of providing our website.

Recipient of the personal data: Hosting provider, internal departments, external service provider for technical support

Third country transfer: No

Storage period of personal data: Deletion immediately after delivery by the web server

4.1.2. Log files

Processed personal data: URL accessed, IP address, time and date of access, time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), amount of data transferred, website from which the user came to the requested page (so-called "referrer"), website accessed by the user's system via our website, http status, information about the browser type and version used, user's operating system, user's Internet service provider

4.1.4. Applications

4.2. Cookies and comparable technologies

We use our own instance of the web analysis service Matomo on our website, an open source software for the statistical analysis of visitor access and user movements. However, the IP address transmitted by you is anonymized before it is saved so that the data generated cannot be used to identify you personally. No cookies are used for Matomo, only a so-called fingerprint of the device you are using, which is stored anonymously and changed every 24 hours. This means that reach measurement and visitor action evaluation takes place, but without being able to clearly identify you.

4.2.1 Analysis via Matomo

Processed personal data: 3 bytes of the IP address of the user's accessing system, the website accessed, the website from which the user reached the website accessed (referrer), the subpages accessed from the website accessed, the time spent on the website and the frequency with which the website is accessed

Purpose(s): Analysis of surfing behavior for marketing and optimization purposes

Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 subpara. 1 f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis of usage data for optimization and marketing purposes (see Purposes).

Recipient of the personal data: Internal departments; processors if applicable

Objection / Opt Out: As a user, you can object to the analysis procedure via Matomo (opt-out). To do so, please follow the corresponding link. In this way, a technically necessary cookie is set on your system, which signals to us that the data will no longer be stored. If you delete the cookie in the meantime, you must set the opt-out cookie again.
